Next year marks the 80th anniversary of the Normandy Landings on 6th June 1944 (D-Day), and the Parish Council has registered its involvement in the D-Day 80 public event by the reading of the International Tribute and lighting the ceremonial beacon on the Village Green at 9.15 p.m. on Thursday 6th June 2024. Members of the public will be invited to participate.
