PARISH COUNCILLOR SANDRA DOWSON organised a fundraising appeal on behalf of Fishburn Parish Council. She has raised money to install a memorial garden which will occupy a quiet corner of Fishburn Cemetery and, in addition to this a wall to commemorate the memory of the deceased with plaques, the garden will incorporate a water feature, hanging baskets, plants and benches.

Fishburn Memorial Garden will act as a place of remembrance for those whom we have lost and as a site of respect for our loved ones.

All money raised will be held by the Parish Council and used to ensure that Fishburn families have a space to scatter the cremated remains of their loved ones and for quiet reflection as we move forward through these strange times due to the COVID-19 crisis. Any donation large or small would be greatly appreciated and we thank you for your support. If there are any funds  left over after the end of the project , they will be used by the Parish Council for the good of the village community.

Once again, we thank you for any donations you make through GoFundMe.com
